LPAR Annual Convention – February 23-25, 2024

The Libertarian Party of Arkansas Annual Convention

The 2024 Convention of the Libertarian Party of Arkansas will be held on the weekend of February 23-25, 2024 at the Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential in Little Rock.

This year’s business agenda includes:

  • Nomination of Candidates for the General Election
  • Selection of Delegates to the National Convention
  • Designation of Presidential Electors for 2024
  • Special Election for At-Large Representative
  • Consideration of the LPAR Platform for 2024

In addition to Party business*, we’re planning BREAKOUT SESSIONS for candidate training, campaign team-building and more!  Stay tuned for special GUEST SPEAKERS. The business meeting will start Saturday morning, but don’t miss out on the Friday evening MEET-AND-GREET EVENT (cash bar).

*Notices Regarding Official Business:

  • IMPORTANT:  Members wishing to serve as delegates or alternates to the national convention are required to inform the State Executive Committee at least thirty (30) days prior to the State Convention.  If you wish to be nominated as a delegate or alternate, notify secretary@lpar.org by January 25, 2024.
  • We will be nominating and electing a new At-Large Representative to the LPAR Executive Committee.
  • Since this is a Presidential Election year, we will also be selecting a slate of Presidential Electors.
  • No amendment to the bylaws have been proposed, so none will be considered at this convention.

  • New business items can be added to the agenda upon the motion of a member, the second of another, and the approval of a majority of the members present and voting.
