56 Libertarian Candidates Register to Run for Office in Arkansas

Updated April 27, 2022*

The one week filing period for candidates to register to run for office in Arkansas ended at noon on March 1, 2022.  By the time the week ended, a record 56 Libertarian Candidates had successfully registered.  The previous record for the number of Libertarian Candidates to run in Arkansas was 32 in 2018.

The Republicans and Democrats who registered this week will participate in party primary elections on May 24th, 2022.  The Libertarian candidates, who were nominated by Convention on February 19-20, will face the survivors of the primary process in the November elections.
