The First District of the Arkansas Libertarian Party elected a new representative yesterday in Jonesboro. Mark Young of Wynne was elected unanimously, and will be replacing the interim representative Jessica Paxton. Congratulations, Mark!
Also, Eileen Walton of Jonesboro was named the Craighead County Coordinator! She will help the ARLP in its efforts to grow from the ground up in a grassroots effort in Arkansas. Congratulations, Eileen!
Trevor Drown, Independent candidate for US Senate, came to the meeting and spoke with us at length. Although there are fundamental differences between Mr. Drown and Libertarians, most of us in attendance found him to be very open and honest.I encourage all who read this to become familiar with him by reading his latest newsletter online.
