LPAR Annual Convention – Big Liberty Little Rock 2026

The 2026 Convention of the Libertarian Party of Arkansas will be held on the weekend of February 20-22, 2026 at the Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential in Little Rock.

This year’s business agenda includes the nomination of candidates for the 2026 general election, as well as selection of delegates to the LP National Convention. We’re also planning sessions for candidate training, campaign team-building and more!  Stay tuned for special guest speakers. The business meeting will start Saturday morning, but don’t miss out on the Friday evening meet-and-greet event (cash bar).

*Notices Regarding Official Business:

  • IMPORTANT: Eligibility for being a voting convention delegate requires that an individual has been a member of the LPAR for 60 days prior to the State Convention. The deadline to meet this 60-day membership requirement is December 23, 2025. To renew or extend your membership, go to https://lpar.org/join-us/.
  • Members wishing to serve as delegates or alternates to the national convention are required to inform the State Executive Committee at least thirty (30) days prior to the State Convention.  If you wish to be nominated as a delegate or alternate, notify secretary@lpar.org by January 22, 2026.
  • No amendment to the bylaws have been proposed so none will be considered at this convention. We will discuss possible future changes to the bylaws.

  • New business items can be added to the agenda upon the motion of a member, the second of another, and the approval of a majority of the members present and voting.
