Zach Lachowsky

A native resident of Faulkner County, Zach first started down the path to liberty after reading about the horrors of Mao’s Cultural Revolution and reading an anti-war short story by Mark Twain at the age of 16. He finally found an ideological home with libertarianism during Ron Paul’s 2012 presidential campaign while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of Central Arkansas. He has previously served two terms as Vice Chair and currently serves as Treasurer of the Faulkner County Libertarian Party. He is a believer in achieving liberty on the local level through development of parallel social institutions and networks, cooperation with local community service organizations, and nullification of oppressive laws.
