About Frank Gilbert
Frank Gilbert is the Libertarian Party of Arkansas' nominee for U.S. Congress, District 4.
Mr. Gilbert, served as mayor of the Town of Tull and as coroner of Grant County before the Libertarian Party began nominating candidates. Since 2012 he has run for office as a Libertarian in every election, and was the first Libertarian elected in Arkansas. His political background also includes serving as president of the Bauxite Education Association for seven years.
Mr. Gilbert graduated from Van Buren High School before serving the United States Navy as Journalist Second Class spanning from 1968 to 1972. He attended Ouachita Baptist University prior to beginning a successful career in private security. Mr. Gilbert made a twenty-year career at Guard Tronic security systems; he was the regional manager of the Little Rock region. His second career was at the Bauxite School District where he worked for nearly two decades.
Mr. Gilbert also serves as a minister of Universal Life Church and founded Ecclesia Arkansas, a non denominational Christian fellowship.
